Sacred Heart is one of many WA Catholic Schools that utilises the services of a qualified and experienced social worker.
Our social worker, Hilary Campos, works closely and collaboratively with the staff, parents and school community to provide the best educational experience for all students. We have access to Hilary one day each week.
The service is school-based, and we consider our social worker to be part of our educational team.
Hilary assists teachers with classroom initiatives, counselling and support to help students and families deal with social or emotional problems relating to school or home life. Hilary also works with teachers to assist them in their classroom programs, and facilitates whole class and small group work sessions.
You can contact Hilary by ringing the school office or by emailing her at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Have a cuppa with Hilary
Hilary is based at Sacred Heart School every Tuesday and is available to parents every Tuesday from 2:30pm in the art room, in an informal setting.
No booking necessary. If there’s something that’s bothering you about your child’s social or emotional well-being, just come along, make yourself a cuppa and have a quiet word with Hilary about it.
